Join a playtest and leave feedback
Understand open feedback, signup spots, session details, and what to do if your plans change.
A playtest helps a creator learn how their game works for real players. Start in Playtests and read what the host wants you to try.
Check the format
| Format | How to take part |
|---|---|
| Open feedback | Play through the Roblox link whenever the test is open. Leave feedback on the playtest page. |
| Signup | Submit the requested details and wait for the host to grant a spot. Check the session time and device requirements. |
An open test does not require a signup or reserved spot. You still need to sign in to post feedback on Bloxstack. A closed test can remain readable even though new feedback is no longer accepted.
Sign up for a spot
For a signup test, explain which supported device you will use and answer the host's questions. Track it in your playtest activity.
Submitting a signup does not mean you have a spot. The host reviews the roster and chooses participants up to the stated capacity. A granted playtest spot is participation in that test; it does not open a paid work deal.
Read any reward terms in the listing before taking part. A reward mentioned by the host is not an automatic Bloxstack payment.
Give feedback someone can use
Describe what you tried, what you expected, and what happened. For a bug, include the device, steps to reproduce it, and a screenshot or short clip when useful.
For example: “On mobile, opening the shop during the tutorial covered the next-step button. Closing the shop let me continue.” That is easier to act on than “the tutorial is broken.”
If you cannot attend
Withdraw your signup when the option is available so the host can review their roster. Check Bloxstack notifications for session updates. If the game itself will not open, confirm the Roblox link and access requirements with the host through the playtest's available discussion or feedback surface.
